Good Things to Know

  • Arrive five to ten minutes early to enable yourself to become present in the CZR.
  • Doors lock a couple minutes prior to class time.
  • Remove shoes prior to entering the CZR.
  • Turn off all cell phones and pagers before entering CZR.
  • Avoid heavy fragrances or scents.
  • Bring a yoga mat.
  • BRING WATER, this studio is heated to 90-95°F. Arriving to class hydrated and staying hydrated is important.
  • Bring a towel and/or a Yogitoes® Skidless® Yoga Towel.
  • What to wear – because you will move a lot and sweat during class, it is suggested you wear snug clothing with sleeveless tops. But most importantly, wear clothing that makes you comfortable. (What not to wear – socks, we practice bare footed.)
  • Mention any pre-existing injury or medical conditions prior to class so the instructor can help modify your practice to enhance your experience.
  • Cats reside on the premises, if you have known allergies, practice at your own risk.
  • Avoid heavy meals 2-3 hours prior to practice.
  • Always practice at your own level for that day. Let your breath be your guide in class.
  • Come with an open heart and mind, take your practice seriously but yourself lightly and don’t forget to have fun! Smiles and laughter are encouraged.
